So-Fair Field Farms is a 10-acre property located approximately 16 miles west-southwest of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Established in 2014, our name was derived from our last names, Jessica Soik and Shane Fairfield. We currently have 14 alpacas in our herd, which may increase in spring, with expansion next year for a second herd in the plans. This is an ALL male, fiber operation as we do not wish to have a breeding program at this time. The farm has two large pastures currently and will have two more come spring. All the hay we use is also grown on our property to keep it a self-sustaining operation. Creating our webstore (www.sofairfieldfarms.com) and touring the state for craft and trade shows is our precursor to the store we will build on the farm in the next year or two. The old dairy barn was taken down this past fall to make way for the new brick and mortar. The dairy barn was well worn and too costly to maintain or convert efficiently. If you find yourself in our neck of the woods or want a destination for a short day trip, give us a call we would love for you to meet our boys.
